Essential tips
- Count played tiles: with 28 tiles total and 7 in your hand, you know 14 of the remaining 21 locations
- Control the ends: playing tiles that close numbers your opponent doesn't have limits their options
- Play your heavy tiles (high pip count) early — they cost more points if you're stuck with them
- In team play, play your strongest number early to signal your partner what you hold
- Force a block when you have fewer pips than opponents — wins the round by default
- Doubles (0-0, 1-1, etc.) are the hardest tiles to play — get them out early before the number closes
