Card games like Chromeld often get played with all sorts of house-rule variants — stacking draw cards, jumping in out of turn, swap-hand cards, and more. The BoardGame Battles version of Chromeld keeps things simple and consistent: it plays with the standard base ruleset, and none of those variants are turned on.

Draw Two and Wild Draw Four

When a Draw Two or Wild Draw Four is played, the next player draws the matching amount before their turn continues. Draw cards cannot be stacked on top of each other — whatever is owed is always resolved in a single draw.

Turn order

Play always follows normal turn order. There's no jumping in out of turn, even if you're holding an identical card to the one just played.

Wild cards

Wild and Wild Draw Four can be played at any time on your turn — there's no restriction based on what's in your hand, and no swap-hand or pass-hand cards.
